Field Trips/Group Tours

Thank you for your interest in reserving a group tour at The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science. The education staff at The Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science anticipates an exciting year of cutting edge exhibitions to share with school groups of ALL ages.

Your tour will begin with an introduction performed by one of our educators, welcoming your group to The Brogan and informing them of what their experience will include. After the introduction, groups are divided (if needed) into smaller groups for the remainder of the tour. Each group will receive a guided tour through our feature art and science exhibits, a hands-on demonstration in our Eco Lab and plenty of free time with our permanent science exhibits. For an additional fee groups can experience an exploration class. Check out our most recent Education Resource Guide for a listing of Exploration Classes for all age groups. You can also order lunch for your group for an addtional fee. See lunch order form for details.

To classify as a group, you must have ten people or more. The maximum number of group tour participants not taking an Exploration Class is 120 participants at one time. If you have a group of more than 30, please arrive prepared to divide your group into smaller groups of 20 to 30 students.

To schedule a group tour, please fill out the Field Trip/Group Tour Order Form.

Once you have completed the order form, return it to the Museum by faxing it to 850-513-0143 (Attention: Sarah Gladwin) or by e-mail (

We will try our best to reserve your first choice for date and time of visit, but please provide alternative days on the scheduling form in the event your first choice is already booked. Once your group has been scheduled, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please read it carefully for all details regarding your trip.

Please allow 72 business hours for The Brogan Museum staff to process your group tour request. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from The Brogan Museum. Your visit is not confirmed until you receive this e-mail. Please be sure to check your ‘spam’ box when waiting on your confirmation. A lot of times, outside e-mails are directly deposited into this folder by mistake. Upon receiving the e-mail, make sure all information is correct. If there are any mistakes or changes you would like to make, contact museum staff by using the e-mail address used to send your confirmation.

The Brogan requests one adult chaperone per 10 students. For pre-school groups, the museum requests a ratio of at least one adult per 5 students. Docents are available to enhance group experiences, not to monitor behavior. Teachers and chaperones are responsible for the behavior of the students. They are required to supervise and stay with their groups at all times during the field trip.

Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to visit date. Cancellations after that date will require payment in full. Groups that fail to show on the date scheduled and fail to cancel will be charged the full amount for the order made. Rescheduling requires at least 72 hours notices prior to the scheduled date of your visit.
